Constipation And Cleaning The Colon – Not Pooping Is A Sign Of Much Bigger Problems Inside Your Body by Emily Belllows
Millions of Americans are suffering from constipation. That seems like a huge number – but it is true.
Some people have mild forms of constipation such as fewer than normal bowel movements (i.e., they go number two less often than healthy people). But many Americans suffer from much more serious chronic constipation.
Constipation is so widespread in our country it should almost be listed as a health epidemic.
Unfortunately the Standard American Diet (SAD) – the everyday foods which most Americans wholeheartedly stuff themselves is jam packed full of highly processed, chemically laden, high fat, high calorie junk.
And what does all that “food” (if you can actually call it food) do to your body?
Besides causing another widespread epidemic called obesity, it also clogs up your colon. Millions of Americans suffering from constipation are unfortunate proof of that.
So what happens when you have a clogged or constipated colon? You get a toxic (poisionous) environment brewing in your body. This affects your overall health in a negative way.
What are some of the health conditions and diseases that come from a toxic colon?
Well we already know you can get chronic constipation.
The other colon health problems we can get from a clogged unhealthy colon are:
Fecal compaction – Pounds of hard compacted fecal matter stuck to the walls of your intestinal tract.
IBS – Irritable Bowel Syndrome also known as a “spastic colon.” This gives you abdominal discomfort and bloating.
Colon Stricture – Your colon just pinches off mid-colon and tightens up not allowing your waste to travel easily through.
Diverticulosis leading to diverticulitis – these are little pouches or protrusions of tissues in your colon that normally are okay but when the pouches become irritated or infected due to poor diet or poor health this leads to very painful bowel movements, chronic constipation, bloating and other health problems.
